Jigen ryū 示現流

Currently Jigen ryū is located in Kagoshima, Kyushu, Japan and is led by Togo Shigenori (12th generation headmaster and successor to the school)

The Shimazu family weapon is a circle with a cross in it, where circle is said to represent the skull; the vertical stripe “Ichigeki Hassatsu” (one stroke, one kill) from Jigen ryū and the horizontal line is the imprint of the own sword that tried to parry but failed.
