Although every arrangement is unique, we follow the following guidelines:

  • When a student trains with a financial arrangement, the student will be asked to use their skills for the dōjō. (This can mean photography, translations etc.)
  • A dedication to the art is expected, the students trains every class without skipping
  • The arrangement applies as long as the financial hardship is present, when better financial times arrive the arrangement will be mutated to a regular membership.
  • For both Mugai ryū and Meifu Shinkage ryū, registration (in Japan) is possible. Both registrations will be put on hold, until the student stops the arrangement to become a regular member. (This means, among other things, that no exams taken in this time.)
  • All regular classes (including the tameshigiri-classes and the workshops that are free for other members) fall within the arrangement, but seminar, separate training and classes with guest-teachers do not fall within this arrangement.

In short:

“An arrangement can always be devised,
if the passion to train is present.”
