As a student of the Meiji University he started studying Aikido under Seigo Yamaguchi Shihan with whom he studied for more than 20 years.
From 1991 he taught Aikido in Tahiti for several years.
Mimuro Shihan is Director of Yokohama international Aikido Club and Coach of Meiji University Aikido Club.
